Hi everyone!
I have found a great resource for your speaking practice! It is called The English We Speak and has been put together by the BBC’s Learning English team.
Every week, the focus is on a different everyday situation, so you have the opportunity to listen to commonly used conversational language and to many popular idioms – I am sure you will learn several new expressions each time you listen – why don’t you try to use them yourself when you speak? That can be your daily challenge! Listen to a short dialogue from The English We Speak every day, take note of any new expressions, and try to use them yourself – easy!
The dialogue topics include:
–Keep me posted
–Work for peanuts
–It’s a joke
–Call it a day
–Have your cake and eat it

Visit the list of past programs on The English We Speak homepage for more details and start speaking the way native speakers speak from today! Enjoy!
