Hi everyone!
Today I would like to introduce you to Randall’s ESL Cyber Listening Lab. This website is an oldie but a goodie – don’t be put off by the simplicity of the website – it is in fact one of the best English listening practice websites there are and it has been used successfully by thousands of English learners for more than ten years.

Randall’s Cyber Listening Lab provides hours and hours of listening exercises at many different levels or many different topic areas – I am certain that you will find something to suit your level of English and areas of interest. This is what it looks like:

As you can see, there are exercises at the easy, medium and difficult levels and most of the listening exercises are on practical every day situations. There are also special exercises focussing on Academic English and on Vocabulary development, and there is also a special section with longer conversations and videos. Here are some examples:

–Security Systems (difficult)
–Pizza Delivery (medium)
–Spending Money (easy)
–Internet Access (Academic – medium)
–Lawsuit Settlement (Academic – difficult)
–Cosmetic Surgery (Academic – very difficult)

As you will see, each of the above listening activities has pre-listening exercises, listening comprehension questions, vocabulary explanations, and post-listening exercises. So, why don’t you give Randall’s ESL Cyber Listening Lab a try!
